De Soumik
My lord
My love
My life
My Lakshmana
Your exile
Your vigil
Is so blessed
That mine appears
Just a little
You asked for fourteen years
Sleeplessness
How hard
How harsh
And the Nidra Devi
Granted it with pleasure
You prayed for my numbness
My hibernation
My aestivation
I take it with equal pleasure
One thing more
Give me the patience
Give me the power
That I can
Pass the years
Not with you
But only with your dreams.
