Sutanuka Ghosh Roy
Diana’s palm-full of waters
metamorphosed Actaeon
into a stag.
Nirvaya didn’t find water enough
The devils remained as devils
Asifa when you met Tereus
Did you cup your hands?
Perhaps the well dried up as
the cotton ball clouds forgot to shed a tear.
Nephele, Hyale, Rhamis, Psecas, and Phiale
now on leave.
The hounds scale the walls of Thebes
Monica, Rita, Sania too wanted to become
Nightingales.
