Waiting for Reluctant Rain.....
A sky parched anxious Earth
is staring mouth open.
Fooled by the smell of July
the Kali Koel has arrived
cooing from behind hidden leaves
on an anonymous faraway branch.
A hot bothered Breeze runs
helter skelter mindlessly singing
its way over the gasping grass .
Frightened Clouds have vanished
at the sight of the mighty lava filled Sun.
Who will seed them? where will we find them ?
Let us , you and I look for the missing Trees.
Perhaps they will tell us.
But who will tell us where to look for them.
Do you think the choking river knows ?
Or has it also forgotten.
Something is telling me
We can coax the reluctant rain to drip .
Something is saying "return what you took."
Rain must return…
