The cracks like lightnings
And the sense of hideous sounds,
With resonations,
That have no mild tone.
Empty, dark windows lined with iron bars,
Stand tall and ever closed
And it will perhaps protect the greater darkness.
But like a child one can wait by its side,
For a kiss of the mighty rays of sunlight
And then to smile at the ruthless,
empty wickedness around.
Despite the cracks,
The window weaves hope divine.
It has no beautiful sights to hold alas
But thousands of weak hearts that long
A sprinkle of joy.
