I have fond memories
Of a magical tree
And a wishing chair
Beyond compare
Whether it’s Alice in Wonderland
Or the Red Riding Hood
Or Peter Pan
There’s something special
About these stories you love
They are from your treasure trove
Why is it that when we age
We lose that magic in our gaze
What was once covered with a glow
Is now mundane and slow
Let’s recapture that magic
And the innocence
Let’s get lost in a book
And count to ten….
