I have reached my village
It is late evening
Night trying to spread its wings
Sky is blue, no pollution in the airy swings
Many stars dotted on the sky
A big round and white moon
Perfectly aligned in the sky
Reflecting sun’s light
Lacks her own spark, dark inside
Waxing and waning the part of moon’s life
Born from earth’s womb
The breakaway product of earth
Could not be away emotionally
Moon revolves around the earth
It’s vicious cycle of twenty nine and half days
Repeats the cycle twelve times in a year
No moon, half moon, full moon phases every month
The hide and seek affair
In the beginning it is new
Hides completely, out of sight
This is the new moon phase
It is dancing between earth and sun
The bright side facing away from earth
From earth we cannot see the charming moon
Low energy time, low emotions
We think of new preparations
To sow the seeds of hope
The farmer’s emotions
Slowly the dance lifts the veil
Moon starts appearing
Slowly the illumination grows
As the moon moves a step away from earth
Exposing to the sun’s glow
The waxing moon setting intentions
Hopes and wishes
The farmer sows the seeds
The time for planting and caring
The play continues
The sun and moon on the opposite side of the earth
Also in opposite zodiac signs
It’s earth facing side fully illuminated
The beautiful full moon
Heightened emotions
Increase in creativity we feel
It is the time for harvesting
Reaping the benefits of seed sown in new moon
All good coming in the way
The play still on
Waning of illumination
As the earth moving away from sun
The half-moon stage
Then the crescent shaped
Adorning the hair of Lord Shiva
Signifies gratitude
To sow the seeds of hope
Waning continues
The new phase, the new moon, another cycle starts
What a play
High emotions, low emotions
The high tides and the low tides
We all face in life
The sense of continuity
Coming full circle
The sorrows of new moon
Still optimistic in the dark
The hope, the embryo grows inside the womb
In complete dark, before it sees the light out
I am sitting in the forest
Imaginations high
Dreaming of someone
The home coming moment
As the moon is full and bright
At the end of the road
Rising high
Moon does get an extra shine
Once in a blue moon time.
