'All of Life involves transitions.'
Few truisms are more accurate.
Transitions generally viewed as a progression;
from the day we are born, growing, developing, ever shift-shaping
to meet the changed circumstances
of our world and its demands.
Every day we struggle and win, or struggle and lose;
another day looms closer to our personal end.
A day nearer confronting our final transition.
Viewing this vista with dread,
we float inexorably towards our personal evolution…
ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
It's all so simple.
Simply remove that overcoat of 'being'…
none of us is getting out of here alive.
