Ever heard a song on loop until you're filled with gratitude
for your feelings are articulated so well,
what you could've never done yourself.
Ever gazed at something so long that it transforms
and you begin to see what you want.
Ever thought when you’re lost in reverie
your constant gaze turns you into a beholder of memory.
When you put your guards down, ever noticed
your mind slowly enters a celestial void
you realise, you’re meditating and you love it.
Ever thought when you're barely able to step ahead,
a call from your Mom makes you forget the wicked.
Ain’t we used to underestimating the value of an old song
or the power of silence that comes along
or the love overlooked for long.
Ever thought how you take every day magic for granted
While searching for what you wanted.
