The fire threatened to burn like the raging neon green hulk
Leaping crimson tongues of hurt and anger
Sweeping aside in a frenzy the good that still remained
As shockwaves spread through the mind
The sheer injustice of it all would fan the flames
Threatening to send the fire into quantified smoke
Her heartbeats pulsated with the rhythm of flames
Until calm arose from would have been cinders
Burnt to soot?
She reflected at the inevitable extinction
And then she summoned the genie of goodness
Crossing over, she embraced forgiveness
Relieved at the renewal
For karma would take its own sweet course.
