Margaret Blake, Co-Administartor for the Aspiring Writers’ Society,

regularly contributes a variety of prompts and helps manage

the day-to-day behind-the-scenes duties of running a large and vibrant writing group. 

​

She has been writing for many years, but it was only after retirement

from full-time ordained ministry that she began regularly writing short stories. Since then,

she has had three pieces published in an Anthology, won several regional story competitions,

and is a contributor to the new AWS e-zine.

 

During her professional life, she worked variously as a

counselor, educator, and activist as well as in parish ministry. 

​

She currently lives in rural mid-Wales with her husband where

they enjoy gardening and walking together.
